Need look-up in Nashville
Posted by: Jo Ann Holcombe (ID *****5059) Date: May 09, 2008 at 19:39:31

high gasoline prices prevent me making a summer geneology trip. Any help would be so appreciated.
My ancestor, Jonathan Seamonds moved to jefferson co tennessee in 1806. He came there from Virginia and was there until he died in 1833. The census' for the years 1810,1820 and 1830 were destroyed so research is difficult.
Another researcher for a different leg of this family told me that Jonathan had a large number of children and that he saw this information in Nashville genealogy library. If possible I would love to know the names of his children and their places and dates of birth. It is asking a lot, but any help at all will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks ahead of time.
JoAnn
