I am trying to find the right parents for Christiana/Catherine McKnight. She was born 1822 in Madison, TN. She married John L. Harton. I have seen her parents listed different ways. Her father has been listed as William McKnight or William's son, James or as William's brother, James McKnight. I have seen her mother listed as Elizabeth Bell and Mary Polly Price. I've also seen Mary Price listed as William's wife. Also did William or James McKnight survey Jackson? There are many McKnights and duplicate names. Is there anyone who can straighten this up for me? I would appreciate any help as I can not unravel all the conflicting information I've seen. Thank you!
