For all these folks:

1. Have you checked the Federal Censuses (1880/1900/1910/1920/1930)?

2. Have you checked the World War I and World War II Draft Registrations for the men?

3. Have you checked the World War II Army Enlistment Records?

4. Do you have birth, marriage, death, burial, and Social Security records?



Much of this information is readily available online, although you may have to pay for some of it. Other good Tennessee sources are the major libraries in the state.

You may be able to find volunteers who can help you with local research at:

Again, you may have to pay copy and mail costs, but shouldn't have to pay for the research itself.
