Does anyone have any information about Benjamin Young b. abt 1855 ..Tennessee as LDS FamilySeach records show.
LDS records show he married Lucinda Neal of Bell Co, Ky, b.1859 and they had three children: James Matt Young, b.1876, Catherine [Young] McCollum, b.1878 and Henry Gillus Young, b.1879.
The 1880 census had Ben in the Bell County Jail at Pineville, Kentucky.
When I was at the 2005 Asher Reunion in Red Bird, Bell/Clay/Leslie Co, Ky I was told that "Ben was killed by Black Jack Asher". Ben/Benj Young is my great grandfather.
Lucinda married Green A. Bingham and moved to Lima, Ohio taking her two older chilren, James Matt & Catherine Young, with her.
She left Henry Gillus Young with her mother, China[Asher]Neal, in Bell Co, Ky. She had seven more children in Lima, Ohio.
