Thank you William for your quick response & for the county clarification. I did lookup some census info in the past but not in Kentucky & the only comments I could find regarding Viola was that she was either wife or widow. My father & grandfather never mentioned Doris so I don't know what became of her. But yes, you gave me another direction to follow in order to find who Al & Viola's parents were other than knowing Viola's father was a pharmacist & lived in Greene Co, Missouri where she is buried. I appreciate your input!!!
