I am not related to the Presley family. I noticed your message due to interest in James Alford White.
I am nee White. I have the name Alfordinmy White line.
White's from Giles Co TN to Lauderdale Co AL.

Lonnie Alford White. Died in Lauderdale Co AL. Son of John Lewis White and Carissa 'Bell" Abernathy. Late 1890's early 1900 dates for these people.

Message on Presley forum, no 367, spells his name as Jebedee Presley b ca 1815 NC or VA. d ca 1905. SON of
Andrew Presley b ca 1774-1790, died ca 1910 Hawkins Co TN.

I have no idea if this is correct but it is a starting point to check out. James E. Weaver posted the name and approx dates.
