Currently have almost 90,000 names in data base from muster rolls, census, cemeteries. pensions trying to compile the most complete data source avaiable, with parents, wives, dob, dod, place of death, where buried, cause of death. One purpose is so that proper headstones can be placed for ALL Veterans. #2 proper war records can been accrued (units served so that it is easier for researchers to locate war veterans. (many Records including Pensions and census heve errors, 1st (Fields vs Turney's (1st Cav vs 6th, or 4th vs 8th.) Those errors lead researches to the wrong counties. We also have Confederate Cemeteries with either invalid Names or Units (all need to be corrected) All info will be donated to TnGenWeb, so that all info free to the public. Morgan
