Looking for additional information on my family line:
4g-grandparents William Roberts and Ann Vandergriff; married in 1784 Wilkes Co, NC. Lived in Washington/Carter/now Johnson; Grainger; Knox; Anderson and Hamilton counties. Ann's parents Jacob and Sarah Vandergriff died in 1828 Anderson Co. My Roberts always found near their Vandergriff relatives.
William and Ann Roberts' children:
1. Sally Roberts (probable) married Leonard Vandergriff (first cousin?) 1805 Grainger Co.
2. Jacob Roberts (proven) married Elizabeth Grove(s) about 1812 in Anderson Co?
3. Ninion Roberts (probable) + family from Anderson to Falling Water, Hamilton Co.
4. William A. Roberts (proven) married Jane Bunch about 1833 in Anderson/Hamilton Co?
William, Jacob, William A. and most of their families to Missouri in 1842.
