I am trying to find any data possible on one George McBay listed in the 1850 Lincoln County Tennessee Census Report as the 6 year son of Edward and Jane Cumberland McBay. There was a 4 year old son named Samuel listed as well and this is my connection. I would love to find data on George. Edward and Jane must have divorced later in years as she is listed in the 1870 census as head of household with one 18 year old Houston, farm hand and Margaret 15. Edward is listed in another household so he didn't die. Although these are not listed as her children they very well could be as they have the first names of Edward McBay's parents. If anyone out there has any info on either George McBay or the younger Houston and Margaret McBay please contact me. I would love to read what you have. Diana
