Searching for names of children Samuel Porter Helton/Nancy (or) Mary Jones Helton. They were living in Countyline, Moore County, Tn according to 1880 Census. An Aplication for Civil War Pension indicated there were at least six children. According to the 1880 Census, only Samuel P. Helton, wife Nancy Jones Helton and dau A.C. Helton were listed in household. In addition to A.C. Helton (she married James Alexander Harper), James Laborn Helton (my grandfather) was born 1856 (perhaps the oldest) in Moore County, Tn. He married Mary Francis Williams (from Dean/New Herman community. So, there are at least four other children that I have not been able to identify.
