I did a little online searching and I was able to find William and Martha on the 1850 Morgan C Census subdiv 19 pg 289a. William Howard Sr. 83 b NC [so 1767] Martha 73 b NC [so 1777] Jonathon 57 b. TN [so 1793] A WFT cited that they were born in Greene C. NC. Possible brother living next door to them in 1850 John age 82 wife Nancy 68 and Allen 21 b TN possible other children [some could be John's though so you will have to research it. Joseph 36wife Martha w/kids W.D. 5, Baxter B. 3 Wm 39 wife Genuine or Gemima? 24 w/kids Nancy 3, Joseph 11months Samuel 50 wife Caroline 42 w/kids Lewis 16, Ann 8, Elizabeth 6 Sarah 5, Martha 3 I did find Martha and George Lavender on the 1870 census pg 379 George Lavender 57 b TN Martha 51 TN Patsy Davidson 20 Alvin 8 months Mary 59 next door Nathan Howard 50 b TN Mary 21 [I found she is Mary George & they married 1-17-1862] Avis 6 Stephen 4 also William Howard 38, wife Sarah 33 I did find per WFT that Patsy Lavender was born 4-1-1819 and died 1-27-1909 and is buried in Pineflat Cemetery in Morgan C. Did you check that cemetery for her parents? I found that George's father was Daniel S. Lavender wife Elizabeth [possibly Howard?]. This was per a WFT so Check it out as truth.
