Need information regarding the family of Joseph Goddard (b. 1806 TN) of Morgan Co, TN, m. 1828 to Rachel Stonecipher (b. 1810 NC).

Descendents claim he died of blood poisoning after accident while he was out chopping wood. He is supposedly buried in the vicinity of his farm near Crooked Fork Creek.

1860 Census shows Rachel remarried Jonathan McPeters (b. 1801 NC) & 3 youngest children by J. Goddard living with them.
