Vicki, Eli Branstetter was my 4th great grandfather. Eli married Sarah Matilda Hair in 1836 in Lancing TN when Eli was 22 years old..They had 6 children Sarah Ann 1837-1923, Elizabeth 1837-1909, Matilda 1836-1882, Henry L. 1841-1900, Polly 1847-?, and Mary 1859-?. Eli Branstetter was the first one to be buried in highpoint cemetery. As far as the Durhams, Herschell was my grandfather and Josephine my grandmother.
