Thanks, Randall - It's been a couple of years since I posted... the forum was quite inactive for a while, then my e-mail changed and I haven't checked here in a while.

I have continued to work on the Morgan County Branstetter and Durham trees, though -- you all can find my info, photos, etc. at www.branstetterfamily.com -- I did indeed find out where John Durham was from (Fentress County)... and his mother was Eliza Norris (not Mary), and his father was James Durham.

Randall, I know your grandmother Josephine very well and see her every year at both my family reunions. She is a wonderful lady. She is kin to the Branstetters, while your grandpa Hershel (whom I also remember well) was a Durham, so we are doubly related. I remember all of your aunts & uncles, too, and live just down the road in Mt. Juliet TN from Nolan and Reed. I see from my database that you are the son of Rosalie, and that you married a Margaret (last name unknown).

Please get in touch - this includes all you Morgan Co. Durham and Branstetter relatives out there. My e-mail is vicki.payne@beareware.com -- I am still actively updating the family tree, at the above website address, and would love to hear from you.

Vicki
