Brenda,

William Curry and wife Elizabeth Moffatt came to Troy, Obion, Tn from Chester, S.C. with their 3 sons Stafford, Samuel and Joseph around 1848.
James and Martha Moffatt migrated from SC in 1840 and established the J.S. Moffatt Mercantile Compnay in Troy, Obion, Tn. They recommemended to William and Elizabeth that they should relocate to Obion Co, Tn. Martha and Elizabeth were sisters.

I would be interested in any information you may have on the Curry, Moffatt, Buchanan and Bratton families.
