My name is Robert Reed Morris,
I am trying to find info on my family, My ggg/gf was James G Morris, born abt 1816 in N C, he married Mahala Benson born abt 1824 in Henderson Co Tn, dau. of Levin Benson and Christiana White Benson, from He Co Tn.
His son Wyley Nicholas Morris had the folowing children;
Sterling Pricw Morris, b 6 July 1865
Betty Morris
Martha "
Eilila "
James Samuel Morris b-11, Feb 1874
Henry Calvin Morris ( Bud ) b-26 Feb 1873
Wylie W Morris b-28 Feb 1876
Wyley was married to Martha McCain, B- 1840 in Tn.
Does any body have info on this Morris family?
Sterling died in Fulton, Ky., James Samuel died in Freemont, Obion Co., Calvin (Bud) died in Union City, and Wyle W died in Obion Co
I would appreciate any help that I can get. I am trying to find out who James G Morris's father is
