I received a letter written 23 Feb 1909 to Mr. J.A. Garrison and family of Troy from S.M. Robinson of Bloomfield Mo.
Names in the letter are:
Mr. J.A. Garrison, who was Josina G.A. (John or Joe) 1848-1919 son of Miles/Milas & Margaret (Garrison) Garison (York Co. S.C. line)
Aunt Fan, Francis (Fannie B. Reeves) 1863- 27 April 1909 married J.A. Garrison Oct 1879
Fannie B. d/o Hiram Green Reeves Jr. & Easter A. Hubert, Reeves family (York Co. S.C.line.)
S.M. Robinson,I suspect his name is Sammie M. married Cora May Dickey Dec 1891, Cora M. d/o John H. Dickey and Adie Reeves.
Cora May Reeves Robinson died 9 May 1910 Stoddard Co. MO. I did locate a Sammie M. on the 1930 census in Stoddard Mo.
married again to a Mary R. with step daughters living with them having the last name of Harper.
I haven't made the connection to S.M. Robinson to this family yet, I don't think the Robinson line married into the Garrison line, so
it must have been Reeves or maybe a Dickey or Ross marriage. Hope some one can tell me for sure who this S.M. Robinson is and how
he connects.
Also wonder who Tom Johnson/ Jonson is that is mentioned and who is Joe, is he a Robinson?? Who is Ma & Pa??
As of the 1900 census in Stoddard Co. Mo. Robinson household consists of:
S.M. 1869,
Cora 1874,
Mack 1891 all born TN. and Willard 1897 MO.

Garrison & family I will drop you a few lines Cora is improving & Joe is resting very well he got his leg broke last Sunday between his knee & ankle he was running his horse & she fell with him if he dont get along all right I will wright again how is Aunt fan geting tell her I would love to see her I looked for her out last fall was sorry she didnt get to come Ma & Pa was both right feeble the last time I heard from them Joe is Tom Jonson out on Bale & heard he was will ? will close
