Looking for Information or person with a family line to Jeremiah Taylor or his son LEWIS TAYLOR.
I know LEWIS TAYLOR was born in Overton Abt 1841 and married Mary (Polly) Taylor. They had 10 children and the last being TILLMAN LECTOR TAYLOR (Brn 1879 KY), my GGrandfather. Looks like the family moved to Kentucky during the Civil War.
Family lore has it LEWIS TAYLOR was hung by raiders just after his son Tillman was born around 1878-1879. The MARY TAYLOR and family moved to Morgan Co.,Ill.
