Hello-- I am looking for information on the parents of Robert F. Jones, born in Overton Co., Tennessee on Dec. 13,1856. His mother was Rebecca Grey, born about 1824, unknown. His father's name was James Jones, no other information. Robert Married Margery Jane Carmack in Overton Co., Tenn., and they were my great grandparents.
Rebecca Grey Jones and Lucy Grey Vance were sisters and on the 1860 Overton Co., census were living together with no husbands. Rebecca Jones had son Robert F.Jones, Lucy Vance had sons Newton Vance, William Vance and James Vance, all listed as born in Tenn. All lived in Overton co.,Tenn. I would appreciate any help on the Jones and Grey lines.
