Prudence Beach married Samuel Swearingen about 1846. She was born 1828 Overton Co.(later known as Fentress Co.), TN. and died about 1910 in Ada, Pontotoc Co., OK. Before that she and Samuel lived in Berryville,Carroll Co., Ark. where at least 5 or their 6 children were born.
Prudence family came from N.C., but she was born in TN. and Samuel was born in N.C. 1825. Wondering if he moved to TN and that is where they met and were married?
Prudence Beach father was Abram Beach b. 1808 N.C. d. 1854 Ark. his wife was Elizabeth (not sure of her maiden name possibly Drake) Does anyone out there know her name?
