My ancestors came to southwest Missouri (Barry, McDonald, Christian Co) in about 1853 or so. Is there any information about a migration of significant size at that time? There seems to be a lot of people in that area with roots in Perry Co., TN. -- Lamberson, Davidson, Howell, Randal, Duncan, Bunch, etc. I would love to have some information about why so many people left Perry Co to come to Missouri.
