I am looking for information on William CHILDRESS. Do not have a birth date on him but he died in Feb. 1892. He married Mereriva A. RANDEL on Nov. 7, 1847. They are both buried in Perry Co., TN. They are my great great grandparents. Their children were: Mahala Crittenden b. 1869; Jennie; Martha; and Ben. Mahala Crittenden CHILDRESS married William Alexander SHELTON. They are my great grandparents. I have information on the SHELTON and RANDEL lines. Looking for information on the CHILDRESS family. I would like to know if CRITTENDEN is another surname because it is an odd name for a girl. Thanks in advance for your help.
