I am searching JESSE GRAY born Dec 1812 in Perry County (or rather its predecessor county of Hickman since Perry was not formed until 1818). Jesse Gray "may" be in the 1830 Perry County household of DELILAH GRAY. (Jesse eventually named his 2nd daughter Delilah). Jesse is listed on the poll tax roll in Perry in 1837, in the 1840 Census and appears to have sold his property in 1841 and moved to Madison County where he married CAROLINE MOORING. He moved to Lake County in teh 1860s and died there in 1879. Any infomation on Jesse Gray's Perry County days and family would be appreciated.
