Looking for ancestors of John Ingram, born c. 1839 in Tennessee, probably Perry Co. He was the son of Nancy Ingram, whose maiden name was possibly O'Guin. She may have been the sister of Daniel O'Guin, whose family the Ingrams lived with for years. Nancy was born abt. 1815 and married abt. 1834. Her unknown Ingram husband was born in North Carolina, abt. 1812 and died 1845-1850 in Perry Co., TN. Their children were Permelia Ann (1835-1880), John (1839-bef. 1869), and James Knox Polk (1844-?) who married Sarah E. Unknown. John Ingram married Elizabeth Terry in 1858 and had children: Tennessee Jane Ingram (1859-1942) who married William Henry Loggins 17 Nov. 1879 in Perry Co.; William Martin Ingram (1861-1917) who married Martha Jane Goodman 3 March 1887 in Benton Co., TN; and John Allen Ingram (1862-bef. 1900) who married Mary Angeline Goodman in 1887 in Benton Co., TN.
