I am trying to find out more about the Suttons who married into the Cherokees. I'm especially interested in Betsy Te Las Sha Ske, she was born about 1762 in Polk Co., Tenn. She married John Sutton. John & Betsy had a son named John Sutton who married Elizabeth Huff. Betsy is supposedly full Cherokee Indian.Her husband John presceded her in death. She would die on "The Trail of Tears". Welcome all inquires.
