I have seen the book Records or Rhea, I have also photocopied another book (which name escapes me) about Mary Morgans lineage.

Mary Morgan and her sons (Willis, Lewis, and George Washington Morgan...possibly also a Willis and Benjamin) @ 1806 came to Rhea County from Abbeville District SC (current day Orangeburge/Spartanburg SC). They were unwelcomed in SC because they were LOYALIST and at one time were in Cranmore Cove, once called "Little Britian".
Lewis married Elizabth Gothard on April 30 1815 and a few years later, Mary married her daughter in laws father George Gothard. (Weird huh?)

Elizabeth Gothard and Lewis Morgan are my G-G-Grandparents.

I can never get farther on this,I run into brick walls constantly. I suggest to go to a local library with a geneology room and ask the libraian if you can have them Loan a book from another library. Look for ones my Tom Morgan (he is in our lineage).

Good Luck and please, share if you find more stuff!!!!
