I am trying to find anyone out there who has done research on the Magee family that lived in Robertson County, TN in early 1800's. I need info on Rebecca Cobb, born ca 1797, probably near White's Creek, Davidson County, TN. Her parents were Frederick Kapp/Cobb (1767-1838) and Barbara Fiser (1772-1863). This Cobb family and the Fiser family were in Robertson County, TN ca 1802. In Frederick Cobb's will in Robertson County, he lists her name as Rebecca Magee. After his death I believe that Rebecca and her husband moved away from Robertson County, possibly to Texas. Rebecca's husband's name may have been W.C. Magee. If anyone out there has any info on this Magee family, I would be interested. This is the only branch of the Frederick Cobb family that remains a mystery. I will be glad to share what info I have on the Kapp/Cobb and Fiser/Fizer families.
