I am looking for the parents of Thomas M. Smith born 7 Jul in Virginia or North Carolina. He died 1 Apr 1866 in Dallas County, Texas. Thomas M. Smith on 15 Feb 1810 in Rutherford County, Tennessee married Mary "Polly" Meadearis.
Only known child is Marth J. Smith born abt 1815 in Tennessee died 1885 in Dallas County, Texas.
Thomas and Polly may have had other children but names are unknown.

Does anyone know who Thomas M. Smith's parents were?
