Granville Davis and Maude Cecil married in Scott Co. in 1895. Granville was a son of Philip and Telitha Davis. In the 1900 census the whole family was enumerated in Roane Co. Granville and Maude had two young daughters, Minnie and Mary. By 1910 Maude was remarried and living in Whitley Co., KY with her new husband. With them is Minnie Davis and an infant son, Oscar. What became of little Mary Davis? Did Granville and Maude divorce (which I believe to be the case) or did he pass away? Does anyone have any information about Maude prior to her marriage to Granville Davis? She was born in 1877 but I cannot find her in the 1880 census. I believe (but am not certain) that her mother was Rachel Cecil, a daughter of Solomon Cecil. Any help sorting out this family would be greatly appreciated.
