Oh,Donna, Thank you SO much. Yes, that is exactly the GGGGrandmother I'm searching for! We were there on a Sunday, drove all over the area, asked at the general gas station, but no one knew of it. I don'tknow when ever we'll be in TN again, but your information tells me what I know. I'd just love to see her grave and take a pic of any headstone. This woman lost her husband and 2 sons in Civil War. The same year a younger son shot himself accidentally and was killed. Talk about loss in war, wow! Husband John H(enry) Chitwood died in Andersonville and sons in BElle Isle. I've been to his grave.
