Julian Reed (b 1842) was born in Scott Co., TN. He was the older of two sons born to Isaac Reed and his second wife, Pharaba McDonald. The other son was Harrison Reed, a lifelong resident of Scott Co. Isaac Reed had quite a few older children from his first marriage to Pharaba Rachel Hatfield. Among those children was a daughter, Pharaba, who married James Timothy Cecil. They, too, were lifelong residents of Scott Co. as far as I can tell. Julian Reed married Talitha Massengale in 1860 in Scott Co. A few years later they moved to Whitley Co., KY. Julian was still living there with his third wife, Hattie, as of the 1920 census. I cannot find a trace of Julian or Hattie after that. Since he had many relatives still living in Scott Co. and they probably have descendants perhaps living there today I am hoping that someone will have heard of Julian Reed and perhaps help me find a date and place of death. If you can provide even the smallest of clues I'd appreciate hearing from you. Thanks in advance....
