Are you talking about William Roberts who married Catherine Rogers the dau of Doswell Rogers born in 1736? I am not familiar with data on William Roberts who married Catherine Walling. I do have some deed records on Wiliam Roberts, Sr. who married Catherine Rogers. William Roberts got into some trouble when he sold land to Joseph Rogers. Joseph had a brother, Elisha Rogers.

I wrote the book DESCENDANTS OF DOSWELL ROGERS. There is another lady who wrote a book on Elisha Walling. Doswell Rogers and Elisha Walling did run together and their families intermarried with the Roberts. I have a deposition which proves this.
