Margaret,
William Romines ( b. 15 July 1826, Sevier Co., Tn.) is my direct decendant into the Romines' Family line. William Romines' military Pension for a Widow with a child under the age of 16 years old gives me several clues to his family. The application cites first wife as Nancy Connaster,who died ( ca 1850 ) and Zuba Thomas as his second wife ( m. Sep 1853 ) at the time of his death ( 11 Aug 1893, Sevier Co., Tn.) Their dependent child James B. Romines (b. 30 Oct 1878 ). Ezekiel states he is a brother and Elizabeth ( Hurst) is a sister to William. The application cites that Jesse Romines a son was supporting them. How did you prove William Romines is the son George Washington Romines and Sarah Richards? I can not find any proof ( a will or a Family Bible ) of William's parents. Thank you for all the additional information on the Romines' Family.
