That DNA test is a great start. Now, track down a descendant of the Robert Cunningham who married in
1) Knox in 1849 to Elizabeth Pratt
2) Knox in 1852 to Mary Cloninger
3) Sevier in 1867 to Levina Reed
or a descendant of the Aaron Cunningham who married in
1) Knox in 1839 to Syntha Galyon
2) Knox in 1845 to Sarah Galyon.
Both are marked to be sons of the Andrew Cunningham in question. A match would signal the value of a deeper search. --Carl
