I am seeking James and William Toney of Campbell Co., VA. James was incarcerated for debt in the 1840's in Campbell Co., VA. William applied for his pension for the War of 1812 in Campbell Co., VA. and the pension was transferred to Tennessee. William is buried in Jackson Co., TN. These 2 brothers had a sister, Nancy, that married a Terry (believed to have stayed in VA.) All were born around 1800 give or take. A "Marcus" Toney fought in the Civil War. He enlisted in Smith Co., TN. but listed himself as from Campbell Co., VA.(maybe a son) James married a woman named Evelina in VA. All of their children were born in VA. (Walter, Mary, Emily and James) They moved to Smith Co., Jackson Co., TN area about 1840. William married Nancy Hall in VA. Any help with these relatives would be Greatly Appreciated!
