I've been researching our family's genealogy on the Bransford side for sometime and I can't find a connection between my grandfather William H. Bransford, born Dixon Springs, TN in 1889 and his travels to Fort Worth, Texas. The bits of information I've been able to find are his mother is listed as Mary S. Bransford, widowed, 1900 census (Ft. Worth, TX). The times I've thought to draw a conclusion and establish the family line through the Bransfords of Dixon Springs, there was conflicts with identifying the parents. In particular, the father whose name that seems elusive. I'm looking for any information on identifying Mary S. Bransford and her spouse. Also, any information that might lead to why they moved to Texas at the turn of the century.
