Looking for information on the following people:
James Rolan McClain, b. about 1842, possibly Cannon or Stewart Co.; married Arbella O'Barr. b/ 1846.
Their son, James Martin McClain, b. 1867, married 5 times. One marriage in 1887 to May Florence Powers. They had a daughter, Kate who married Ruben Schmidt.
James Peter Schmidt, b. about 1883, married Lottie ?. They had sons Ruben and Nolan. Is this the same Ruben who married Kate McClain, because this Ruben had a son named Nolan from a previous marriage.
Any information on any of these individuals and their children or ancestry would be greatly appreciated.
