Do you know if you are related to Annie Tocher? She was a teacher, until she married my grandfather, James McIntosh. They had one daughter, my mother Mary. My grandmother preferred to be called Nancy. My grandfather was a Presb. minister in Canonbie, and then Dumfries. My mother was born in Canonbie. I believe that my grandmother had a brother named Lockabie (I think he was on her side rather than my grandfather's side of the family, as well as a sister named Suzie Susan or Suzanne and another sister, named Maggie. My grandmother died in the late '40s in Dumfries. I cannot remember if it was their mother who had a number of children who were twins, or their grandmother.
Does any of this ring a bell? I am trying to get more info from my mother but some bits and pieces are all I have.
