Hello Martin. I would be keen to hear more about your ancestry to see if I can tie you into my (or any other) Tocher family tree. Please see the database on my webpages at http://www.tenoaks.fsnet.co.uk to see if you can spot any immediate links.

I'm also interested in your mention of a German origin. Can you add anything more to that, or where you got the story from? There are similar traditions in various branches of my wider Tocher family.
