Re; The names you refer to in your correspondence to lynne got my attention. I too had uncles from aberdeen by the names alex & james & a aunt who was known as polly.I believe the birth dates would make your uncles a wee bit older than the ones in our family. They all imigrated to canada too manitoba & calgary.They arrived in the late 1800 or the early 1900, as far as i know there were 14 of them.
