Hi Gordon

I can't see any obvious connections between our Tocher families at the moment. The ones who immigrated to Canada were children of William Tocher and Barbara Shand of Mill of Seggatt, Auchterless, Aberdeenshire. They had 8 children that I know of - William 1864, Jane 1865, Margaret 1867, Alexander 1870, Andrew (James) 1872, Bathia 1875, Barbara 1877, and Mary (Polly) 1880. What part of Aberdeenshire did your Tocher family come from?
