Oh, you've all had it easy. I've lived the last 28 years trying to explain why Tocher is pronounced Tucker! But, I've been called all of your pronounciations as well. Regardless, I've decided to keep my maiden name after marriage. I think Tucker is Czech. My grandparents came here from the Ukraine. I'm considering starting to go with to-sh-e (french) because it sounds nice and french is one of Canada's official languages! It might defeat the purpose of keeping my name though.
