Do you know which family your Don Tocher originated from?

As far as I know there are no villages called Tocher in Aberdeenshire but there are farms in the parish of Rayne with Tocher in their name - Over Tocher and Nether Tocher.

My Tocher ancestors came from the parish of Auchterless but my ancestor Janet Tocher lived at Over Tocher.
