Tochers of Newfoundland

I've recently discovered I have a great great grandmother who was a Tocher from English Harbour Newfoudland.
Her maiden name was Amelia Martha Tocher. She married James Hiscock in 1857 in English Harbour and they later moved to St. John's .
I found an earlier marriage record from English Harbour of a James Tocher of Aberdeen Scotland to Miss Ivamy 1834.
I think James is quite possibly Amelia's father because I could only find the one family in Newfoundland.
If anyone has any info on this line of the Tochers I'd be most gratefull. A Barter
