Tokarski/Bromberek family trees
Posted by: Jowita Date: September 15, 2000 at 22:44:58

I have just started out trying to trace back my family tree, and i am looking for help.

my parents are Irena (Tokarski) Bromberek (b. jun 17 1959) and Zbigniew Bromberek (i am also looking for my father's side of the family tree)

My mother has a younger brother, Jerzy Tokarski

My Mother's Parents are: Florentyna Nowakowski and Janusz Tokarski (b 8.8.1939).

Florentyna is from a family of 4 kids, and Janusz is from a family of seven kids.

The children in Janusz's family in order (i think) are: Kazimierz (still born), Wiesia, Leszek, Janusz, Mirek, Sabina (youngest).
(i cant remember the other one)

The children in Florentyna's family are Stanislaw, Maria, Mieczyslaw and Florentyna.

Florentyna's Parents are Stanislawa and Jozef (Joseph) and Stanislawa's mother was Agata Stopczyk.

My father has a younger brother, Andrzej who married Mariola (not sure of her maiden name) and they have two children, Agata (19 yrs old) and Alek (18 yrs old)

My Father's Parents are: Weronika (Szozda?)Bromberek and Benon Bromberek

There are 7 children in Benon's Family, the only names I know are Benon, Barbara and Helena.

Barbara was married to a Mr. Pawlicki and then to Stefan Horn, and has lived in Australia since the second (i think) world war.

I dont know much about Weronika's family except that her mother's name was Maria Szozda who passed away only a few years ago.

If anyone has any information on the Tokarski, Bromberek, Nowakowski, Stopczyk or Szozda family lines that may fit in with my family tree, please contact me.

Also anyone with information on the name Bromberek and Tokarski (esp. where the name Bromberek originated from), your help would be appreciated. From what i can gather, the name Bromberek could have originated from "Bromberech" which would mean there is German origin. But I am looking for further information and proof.
