I have information handed down to me from a research done by my uncle William Tolerton in the 40's. I was told that he traced our line to the 1600's in Ireland and we were mounted guards to the King traveling through the forrest. Also that there is a small coal mining town in northern England by the Irish border named Tolerton and they weighed and took the toll of those crossing from Enland to Ireland and vice versa. The town is still there. I gave more personal information on the previous message of Jennifer.
