Seeking parent's names and death date of Jane TOMPKINS [TOPKINS] HUGHSON PETERS, born about 1740-1745 who may have lived in New York City or emigrated to Canada.
Jane married Lieut. Thomas HUGHSON, [my ancestor] born 17 Jan. 1740 in Fredricksburg, Dutchess Co., NY, and died about 1777. He fought in the "War of the Revolution" in White Plains, Putnam Co., NY.

Thomas and Jane HUGHSON had 6 children; I descend from Levi HUGHSON who married in 1790 Naomi PARISH. Jane HUGHSON married 2nd Lieut. Richard PETERS who also fought in the "War of the Revolution" in NY.
