Hi Paul,
Glad to see that you have joined us researching the Tonks name.

My husbands family Tonks has been traced back to the district of Aston in Birmingham. His grandfather was a boatee on the canal and worked between Cheshire and Birmingham. His family was living in Aston, Birmingham when he was born in 1876.

We would be pleased to receive a copy of the Tonks family tree you have, and even if we are not immediately related, there may still be a connection further down the track. Hope springs eternal, as they say.
