I sent you an e-mail to your address with the info I had as an attachment (MS Word).

I joined a list server dedicated to the Black Country and it is devoted to history, culture and genealogy of the area (mostly South Staffordshire).

I posted my original message to that list as well and received 1 enquiry requesting the same data. Seems that there are some listers with their ancestors as boatmen and an interest in Tonks. He has some data base material on Tonks from he Wolverhamption area.

I've asked him to send it along to me and with his permission move I'll send it to you.

My main interst at this point is my father's family- Smith from New Invention, Willenhall. But I have more info right now on Tonks rather than Smith <LOL>.
