I'm just starting to research a Birmingham Tonks connection in my family. Your citing an Emma Tonks from the Birmingham area gives me some hope of finding out more. I wonder if she's my Great Great Grandmother. She married a Thomas Woodcock (date unknown to me) and they had a daughter Emily Mary Woodcock in 1862. The birth was registered in Deritend, Warwick. The family lived on Green Lane in Aston. I'd be grateful for any information. Thanks!
